Derek Patterson is a Principal Consultant with PSTG and has a proven track record of success with over 20 years of management consulting experience in a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services and Food Processing. Derek is comfortable dealing with the ambiguities associated with business transformation and enabling organizations drive lasting strategic change by balancing the impacts on people, process and technology.
Derek's experience has included leading client initiatives to i) develop strategic partnerships, ii) implement functional outsourcing solutions, iii) identify and complete business acquisitions, iv) re-design business processes and v) implement enabling technologies.
At PSTG, Derek's clients have been in both the Public and Private Sectors with most of his engagements focussing on reviewing, re-designing and implementing service delivery models that are more aligned with the clients' business objectives.
Derek is a Professional Engineer and holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester in the UK, as well as degrees in Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.
